Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 donated $14,000 to Hotel Dieu Shaver to purchase new rehab equipment. September - 2009.

Thanks to the generousity of thousands of donors, the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation presented a cheque for $301,00.00 to the Hospital Board on April 10, 2007. The funds will be used to purchase much needed patient care equipment. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 were at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre to have a look at the new state-of-the-art electric bed and vacuum pump that the healthcare facility was able to purchase thanks to the Legion’s $24,000 donation.
