We all play an important role in helping prevent and control the spread of infections in our hospitals and communities. The single most important thing you can do in this effort is to wash your hands.
Waterless hand wash products are located at many locations throughout our facility. Please use them upon entering Hotel Dieu Shaver and your treatment area and again as you leave your treatment area and the building. If you are having trouble locating a hand wash station please ask a staff member to help you.
Also, if you are feeling ill please let us know before you come to your scheduled appointment. Call and notify staff that you are not feeling well. We may need to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Remember these three tips!
- Be involved in your care. Speak up if you have questions.
- Share important health information with your care team (health history, medications, allergies etc.)
- Make sure you know what to do when you leave the hospital.
