Pastoral Care

The pastoral services office is located in the main lobby of the in-patient building. Their hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pastoral Services staff consist of a director and three part-time staff as well as one Sister who works as a volunteer in the pastoral office. They work as members of the interdisciplinary team and provide emotional and spiritual/religious support as well as pastoral counseling to individuals in complex continuing care and rehabilitation as needs arise. 

The volunteer component, which had been established twenty years ago at our former Hotel Dieu, will continue by having Eucharistic Minister’s who will bring Holy Communion to patients on a daily basis or as requested. 

The Eucharist will be celebrated in the chapel on a regular basis. As well, patients of all faiths are welcome to make use of this sacred space.
