End of Life Care

The Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre offers five dedicated beds for End of Life Care.

These Palliative beds offer pain and symptom management in a warm and comfortable environment. The dedicated members of the interprofessional team work together to provide compassionate and supportive care to our patients and their loved ones and are committed to meeting the emotional, spiritual and unique needs of our each of our clients. Our client centered approach to care ensures that dignity is maintained while offering comfort, care and hope to all those who need to access this service.
