Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre has been awarded with the 2014 Quality Healthcare Workplace Awards – Gold Level.
A high-calibre adjudication panel of quality workplace experts completed a rigorous assessment process when reviewing all the candidates, which focused on drivers of employee and organizational health.
“Hotel Dieu Shaver is extremely proud to be awarded Gold," says Jane Rufrano, CEO of Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre. “We were honoured to receive a Silver Level, Quality Healthcare Workplace Award in 2013. Each year we raise the bar of excellence as we continue to improve upon the previous year."
The Quality Healthcare Workplace Award submissions from hospitals and other health care organizations across Ontario were judged on the basis of a number of criteria with an emphasis on health and inspiring work environments, continued efforts to improve quality and reduce costs, and a focus on patient care excellence.
The awards are sponsored by the Ontario Hospital Association and HealthForceOntario, an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
