Hotel Dieu Shaver's Augmentative & Alternative Communication Clinic along with patients, staff and guests celebrated the first anniversary of the AAC Clinic on October 30, 2014.
With over 100 people in attendance, the open house included several meaningful presentations that included HDS patients using various AAC technology devices to communicate how beneficial this program has been to their life.
The Open House received significant positive feedback and was successful in increasing awareness of the benefits of having an AAC Adult Clinic within the Niagara Region.
