Please be advised that Ms. Jane Rufrano, CEO, has elected to retire from Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre effective August 1, 2018. We would like to sincerely thank Jane for her tenure and service to the Hotel Dieu Shaver and the community we serve. She has dedicated her entire career to healthcare in Niagara. Since 2005, in her capacity as CEO, Jane led the organization through significant change, the assumption of the Shaver Hospital/Niagara Rehab and subsequent growth. We wish her all of the best in this new chapter of her life.
In the immediate future, the Board of Trustees will meet to address executive search processes. Specifics with respect to interim leadership arrangements will be shared in the near future. In the meantime, any matters that would normally be referred to the office of the CEO should be directed to Lynne Pay, Vice President Corporate Services or David Ceglie, Vice President Clinical Operations. As always, any medical matters should be referred to Dr. Jack Luce, Chief of Staff.
