Hotel Dieu Shaver is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley, and we join our Niagara community in mourning his loss.
On top of his many official roles throughout Ontario, St. Catharines, and beyond, Jim was a passionate and loyal friend to Hotel Dieu Shaver. He was a familiar face to many at HDS, often bringing greetings at our many hospital events, always the first to meet our staff with a handshake to offer thanks for their dedicated service, and a tireless advocate and voice for a new rehabilitation hospital and bed expansion at HDS.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley,” said Dr. David Ceglie, Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Dieu Shaver. “I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Mr. Bradley for many years, as he has always been a fierce and vocal advocate for rehabilitation services at Hotel Dieu Shaver and throughout Niagara. Jim exemplified the true essence of a servant leader, dedicating his life and career to the betterment of others and consistently placing the needs of the community above his own. Mr. Bradley’s legacy will proudly remain within the walls of HDS and even greater throughout Niagara as he passionately and steadfastly acted to improve the quality of life for everyone in Niagara.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s family, with his closest friends and colleagues and with everyone within our Niagara family as we mourn his loss. Flags at Hotel Dieu Shaver have been placed at half-mast.
