John Rollo
John Rollo was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, and worked in the automotive industry for twenty years while raising his family. He attended night school for thirteen of those years, earning accreditation in Manufacturing Engineering. He made a career change away from the automotive sector. He went on to earn an Executive MBA at the University of Toronto. After launching and, years later, selling off his very successful company in order to retire, “the good years began.” John and his wife Cathy love foreign travel and spending time at their summer home. They are proud grandparents of five ‘grandestkids.’
John is the author of ‘Baby Steps,’ the story of a man who beat all the medical odds to live and walk again. It’s full of optimism, warmth, great love, and humor. It’s also an honest exposé of a rehabilitation system that manages patients, attempting to care for people in an environment with virtually no mental health support in the form of clinical psychologists to assist people to cope with such life-altering circumstances.
